How this is computed
Similarity between articles is computed from semantic embeddings of their full text (Google Gemini), following the approach of langcog/oecs-viz. Articles are grouped into clusters by community detection (Louvain) on the similarity graph.
Cross-references are the explicit “[see …]” links authors place between articles. Collections are the encyclopedia’s editorial topic groupings. The network can be laid out by either similarity or cross-references.
